Gregor said nothing until they were out of sight of the entrance.
"You know that thing you showed me before, that the Duke wants?" he asked, as they sat to collect themselves.
"What about it?"
"The shape!" Gregor exclaimed, his dark eyes alight.
Danir took out the item, and looked at it dumbly.
Exasperated, Gregor shook his head. "The golem has a hole in its chest that matches it!"
"So?"
"So, we use it to control the golem!"
"How do-"
"I just know, okay?"
Danir stepped back. "No. You'll tell me NOW."
Gregor's face flushed with anger and frustration.
